My role at Dalton Pardoe is to provide business advice in Sales, Marketing and Business Strategy particularly relating to Business Startups, Buyouts and Takeovers.
I was MD of a contract services company when it was taken over. I took the opportunity to take some more business qualifications and whilst doing that I met a group of like minded people and we set up in business consultancy. I have worked with companies of all sizes from startups to multi national PLCs in both manufacturing and services in the years since. I'm an advocate of process improvement, which has variously been called Lean, Six Sigma, TQM and many other things down the years but all amounting to the same thing which is understanding what your customer wants - making your product or service meet their need whilst always working to improve quality beyond their expectations and at the same time reducing waste (of money, time, rework etc.) and, of course, making money.
If you would like to find out what these methods can achieve for your company then phone for a free fact finding meeting.
In my spare time I enjoy photography, painting and hill walking. I also act as a volunteer business advisor for the Prince's Trust helping young people make their business dreams a reality and I'm a school governor.
